Warrnambool have won the shield at the Murray Border tournament for the third year in a row. We also won the Ladies Pairs (Maureen Drennan & Maureen Bond), Mixed Pairs (George Draffen & Barb Draffen), Ladies Triples (Jacinta Marney, Debbie Keane & Helen Harney), Ladies Fours (Gill Phillips, Thelma Lackie, Thelma Johnstone & Vivian O’Grady) and Mixed Fours (Shane Cashill, Ian Grummett, Liz Lenehan & Sally Madden). Our Mens Fours side (Colin Wilson, Steven Gass, Gerald Madden & Peter Neal) were runners up.
