Indoor Bowls Warrnambool’s summer pennant for the 2024-25 season commenced on Monday 14th October at the Val Bertrand Netball stadium on Caramut Rd , Warrnambool. Clubs participating are Allansford, Dennington, Camperdown, Cooramook, Grangeburn(Hamilton), Heytesbury, Koroit, Port Fairy and Wannon Park.
The floor of the Netball stadium is being replaced in Mid November so from round 6 of the 2024-25 summer pennant we will be playing our games at St Johns Primary School, Dennington. The best way for bowlers and spectators to access the playing area is to enter off Coghlan’s Rd between Russell St and Station St. We will play the rest of the summer season at St Johns before returning to the Netball stadium for the winter season.
Pennant divisions cater for different standards of bowlers and we always welcome new interest. Pennant is played on Monday nights commencing at 7.30pm and usually finished by 10-10.30pm. Anyone wishing to play can contact the clubs, or George Draffen 0438898704 or georgedraffen@gmail.com
