When standing behind the carpet don’t take eyes off a bowl in course. Don’t drive. Don’t toss jack or bowls up into the air for a one or two handed catch and don’t drop bowls. Don’t lick fingers. Grippo or other chemicals are not permitted. Don’t become dehydrated. Drink water before and during play. Don’t aggravate known injuries. Don’t’ commence play without a physical warm-up. Smooth flat soled shoes are required to be worn. These can be dangerous on wet surfaces. Don’t roll bowls back along the mat when the jack has been knocked off.
